Depending on where you live, Singapore is a very long flight to take, especially if you’re traveling from LAX. But don’t let the long distance scare you, as this city is well worth the visit. With the rush and frenzied popularity of the summer blockbuster hit, Crazy Rich Asians, the film was literally a tourism advertisement for this majestic and beautiful city. It's so sad to say that it's been nearly a year since my trip to Bali and I'm now finding time to write more about it. Such is life - we get so busy with our day-to-do stuff (whatever that is!) that I find it important to sit back and think about the good times in life.

No bueno!” This, much to my chagrin, has become one of my most memorable and embarrassing travel stories to date.Read More
I fantasized for days, weeks, months after reading Elizabeth Gilbert’s Eat, Pray, Love of traveling to Bali. Then, when I watched Julia Roberts bike along the rice paddy fields in Ubud in the film version, it was a done deal for me. I knew that this was one place that I had to visit before I died. Sounds morbid but it’s part of the bucket list that we all have, right?Read More
